Dorothy Woods is a 58 year self-taught native Alabama artist, whose quilts are made by Alabama time-honored quilting traditions.

The designs are her own. the fabric is high quality designer fabric. The quilts are made entirely by hand, without a frame, in the traditional way. Because of this, slight variations in measurement may occur.

She makes quilts to her own design; most will accommodate a queen sized bed as a coverlet; others are for children's beds or are used as wall hangings.

She will accept special orders. Colors may be submitted and the customer may discuss the overall appearance of the quilt with Dorothy. She designs quilts as she goes and would prefer to use her own designer fabrics to insure quality. She will use your own specific fabric, on request.

Because of the quality of the fabric, it is recommended that they be dry cleaned.
